Thomas Whitehurst

I was born in a very small town in Illinois.We moved,at a very young age, to Decatur, Illinois where I grew up and eventually attended both Eastern Illinois State College and Millikin University Majoring in Industry. I moved to the Chicago area and worked for Motorola, Zenith and retired from Shure inc. I bought my first film camera in 1972 a Minolta SRT101 and that started it all. I went digital in the 1990's. As you can see by viewing my photography I enjoy being outdoors and recording the wonders of nature. I also enjoy setting up and shooting "still life's". I do my processing via Adobe Lightroom and Elements, I shoot in the Raw format and convert to TIF or JPG as the job requires. I am a member of our local Art Guild… the...
